Ezechiel 20:8

SV	Maar zij waren wederspannig tegen Mij, en wilden naar Mij niet horen; niemand wierp de verfoeiselen zijner ogen weg, noch verliet de drekgoden van Egypte; daarom zeide Ik, dat Ik Mijn grimmigheid over hen uitgieten zou, om Mijn toorn tegen hen te volbrengen in het midden van Egypteland.
WLC	וַיַּמְרוּ־בִ֗י וְלֹ֤א אָבוּ֙ לִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֵלַ֔י אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׁלִ֔יכוּ וְאֶת־גִּלּוּלֵ֥י מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א עָזָ֑בוּ וָאֹמַ֞ר לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ חֲמָתִ֣י עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לְכַלֹּ֤ות אַפִּי֙ בָּהֶ֔ם בְּתֹ֖וךְ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Trans.	wayyamərû-ḇî wəlō’ ’āḇû llišəmō‘a ’ēlay ’îš ’eṯ-šiqqûṣê ‘ênêhem lō’ hišəlîḵû wə’eṯ-gillûlê miṣərayim lō’ ‘āzāḇû wā’ōmar lišəpōḵə ḥămāṯî ‘ălêhem ləḵallwōṯ ’apî bâem bəṯwōḵə ’ereṣ miṣərāyim:

AC	ח וימרו בי ולא אבו לשמע אלי--איש את שקוצי עיניהם לא השליכו ואת גלולי מצרים לא עזבו ואמר לשפך חמתי עליהם לכלות אפי בהם בתוך ארץ מצרים
ASV	But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me; they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
BE	But they would not be controlled by me, and did not give ear to me; they did not put away the disgusting things to which their eyes were turned, or give up the images of Egypt: then I said I would let loose my passion on them to give full effect to my wrath against them in the land of Egypt.
Darby	But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: none of them cast away the abominations of his eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I thought to pour out my fury upon them, so as to accomplish mine anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
ELB05	Aber sie waren widerspenstig gegen mich und wollten nicht auf mich hören; keiner warf die Scheusale seiner Augen weg, und von den Götzen Ägyptens ließen sie nicht. Da gedachte ich meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen, meinen Zorn an ihnen zu vollenden mitten im Lande Ägypten.
LSG	Et ils se révoltèrent contre moi, et ils ne voulurent pas m'écouter. Aucun ne rejeta les abominations qui attiraient ses regards, et ils n'abandonnèrent point les idoles de l'Egypte. J'eus la pensée de répandre ma fureur sur eux, d'épuiser contre eux ma colère, au milieu du pays d'Egypte.
Sch	Sie aber waren mir widerspenstig und wollten nicht auf mich hören, daß ein jeder die Greuel, welche er vor sich hatte, von sich geworfen und die Götzen Ägyptens verlassen hätte. Da nahm ich mir vor, meinen Grimm über sie auszuschütten und meinen Zorn an ihnen zu kühlen mitten in Ägyptenland.
